Kids love these glow-in-the-dark sticks. Especially after dark. They can wave them in the air, connect them together to make bracelets or necklaces. Kids cannot resist them

They are little tubes filled with a fluorescent gel. When the sticks are bent, the internal lining is broken activating the fluorescent light. They glow for about 6 hours and come in 5 or 6 different colors. Most packages also come with connectors so that the kids can create bracelets and necklaces with the glow sticks.

Glow sticks are a great little money maker. You can sell them for fundraisers or to put some money in your pocket. You never see this in stores, at least here in Dallas.

During the summer, we sell them at our swim meets around dusk at 3 for a dollar. Our concession manager walks out of the concession stand at sunset wearing these stick on her hair and as a necklace. Before you know it we have kids lined up at the concession stand waiting to buy their own glow sticks. We have sold them for a dollar each in the past. A friend of mine was selling them for $3 at a local Oktoberfest. To see some current buys on glow sticks check out eBay.

There are lots of ways to sell them. At festivals, sporting events, and raves. Just about anyplace where people, especially kids, congregate after dark.

Besides they are a lot of fun to have around the house.
